Great place with great wi-fi, friendly staff, and 24-hour reception. I still remember how they helped me retrieve my shower bag on my first stay. I'm coming back for Christmas!

A comfortable stay during the holidays
Enjoyed the cozy feel of our room, which stayed warm throughout our winter visit. Staff served a decent breakfast with prompt service. Note, can be tricky to find at night due to minimal signage. Look for local cafes nearby for evening snacks!

I loved the location. It was perfect so I could see everything that matters in Prague. The room was small but cozy. Everything was very clean too.
The woman who worked the night shift was very heavy and didn't want to help with anything. I asked her for a ride to the airport, and when I asked for confirmation the other day, someone else told me that she had indeed not ordered the taxi (thank goodness her colleagues are much better than she is). I was feeling sick and very cold one night, and I asked her about the heating. She said there was nothing to do. So, I asked her if she could give me a blanket. She said she would check but in the end she never sent it to me. Also, other people who were staying at the hotel told me that they had difficulties with it too. Apart from her, I liked the hotel, and it's a pity she works there.

It's 10 minutes from downtown and next to the subway station and trains.. Great value for money, very cheap for one night with breakfast included. In winter you will not be cold, the heating works perfectly and you will even have to turn it down. It is very well insulated, for other comments we feared that you hear a lot of the train station next door but you can hardly hear it and when you hear it is super soft the sound that if you do not pay attention or listen to it. (At least in the 410 which is the one we had) . We had the attic, and even though you might hit the roofs sometime, it's cool and very bright. Nothing claustrophobic. It has an elevator the first 3 floors (not the attic). Reception 24 hours a day and you don't have to worry about checking in at the time you want. We could leave the bags in a closet that they have in reception after checking out and they didn't charge us anything. They change your towels and make your bed daily.
Despite being in an area of restaurants and hotels the bad thing is that it is next to the train station so there is usually some beggar or drunk at the entrance. We had more than one scare when a beggar entered the hotel with us and many others tried (as the reception is on the second floor they try to sneak in and sleep on the landing). The waitresses at the restaurant are a bit abrupt and they take your dishes away very quickly even when you haven't finished. The receptionists don't speak Spanish, but they do speak English. They don't give out any soap or any toilet, there is just hand soap in the sink and in the shower. There is no hairdryer in the rooms but if you go down to reception and leave a deposit of 250 kroner (which you will get back when you return the hairdryer) they will give you one that looks like a bit of a toy but gives you a good deal.

Central location, helpfull staff, the price and spacious room. Also good for this level of hotel they sold various personal products like toothbrush and toothpaste as I forgot it.
The booking which I made via booking was not known by them, because the booking by booking needs to be confirmed by telephone with them as the reservation department is not always there. This can be very dangerous if the hotel was fully booked, but this was fortunately now not the case.

It was very cheap and so close to both Wencelas Square and the old town square. It was basic but that is what I paid for. Warm dry clean and functional.

Very handy for both railway stations and the trams. Really good price. The breakfast was ok.
Lots of stairs to climb to get to the second floor reception. Bathroom was a bit cramped especially the toilet/sink area.

Nice fresh breakfast
Our room looks much better on the web than in reality. But still good as for travelers. This house is clean enough to be healthy and dirty enough to be happy

Not luxury accommodation but very clean and well-maintained (note: everyone smokes in almost all rooms; we stayed in #102 that luckily for us had no smoke smell at all -- hope it stays that way, we'd like to go back!). Some of the rooms are cosy (while by no means small) and some have absolutely huge ceilings -- maybe 25 feet up, making them very airy. It has a great location; 4 minutes walk to the main rail station; and tram and other rail options are right there (the hotel is on top of a small rail station but you would never know: it is very quiet). It is only a hundred meters or so up Hybernska street from the Best Western (much more pricey) and less than 10 minutes walk to the center of the old city (which is absolutely gorgeous, by the way). For the castle, you can take trams #3 and #22 (change at Karlova Nemesty). For such a location it is very good value indeed. The staff were very helpful and friendly indeed and there is a pretty good breakfast provided. You can leave your luggage in reception on your last day for a bit of extra sightseeing (we did the funicular and Petrin tower).
One thing: you may have to hunt for a relatively smoke-free room and a fan (we got both after checking out several rooms; the receptionist did not know which rooms were smoke-free. It's probably best to assume that you may not be able to obtain a smoke-smell-free room (unless you call in advance perhaps?). There is no air con - they ought to have floor fans in all rooms (we were lucky).
